OpenBGPd or Xorp, which next-generation FLOSS router?
Since its beginning, Gitoyen uses Zebra. Today, we are looking for the routing software which will take us over the limited speed of Quagga and Zebra, the two historical routing implementations.
Xorp andOpenBGPd both seem to be serious challengers, and we are running some tests on a realistic parallel test backbone, in near real-life conditions.
The results of these benchmarks will be published, of course. If you already know about these routing solutions, we would like to know about your experience.
